Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her mother was living in slums with her parents before she reached the age of 3. Then she was adopted. The father of her adoptive family is white American who has military experience, while her adoptive mother is Filipino. She said that both her and her adoptive brother had been abused since she was a young teenager, right up to the moment she joined up. Her family traveled across the country to San Francisco for a few months, where they lived with their aunt, before relocating to Texas when she was 13 due the need of her father to have a bypass procedure. She says the physical violence stopped after a short time, however, she had to deal with emotional abuse from her father. Poarch was a member of the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok profile in April of 2020. Within eight months she had more than forty million users. She posted a number of videos. But her most enduring hit is a music video featuring MillieB's famous track Soph Aspin Send. Her zoomed-in clip of dancing and singing to the tune was a huge hit and became one of the top TikTok video clips of all time. After joining TikTok she launched a YouTube and Twitter account to take advantage of her popularity. Poarch attained her height of fame around December. It was reported that she attracted the attention of two major professional Esports groups. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves expressed an interest in her hiring as a content creator under the respective brand names.
