ErinRichards was born in Penarth, Wales. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. After appearing in short films, she was featured in the S4C Welsh language magazine show Mosgito. She also played in short films. Her roles were then often featured in BBC TV programs Crash and Being Human. In 2012, she was cast in the FOX comedy Breaking In as an executive assistant who has an over-the-top English accent. She was an Breaking In regular in January of 2012. [4][5] Sharon and Sharlto Copley were co-stars in the role of Sharon for Gonzalo Lopez Gallego's horror film Open Grave. [2][6] she played Barbara Kean from 2014 to 2019 on FOX Television's show Gotham. She was the director of "The Trial of Jim Gordon" which was her fifth season episode. The episode debuted on 7 March 2019. According to FOX they are casting her in an unreleased independent movie called That Good Night alongside Max Brown and John Hurt. She has also been seen in The Quiet Ones and Open Grave and also in the TV show Being Human in Britain. She currently lives in New York City, Los Angeles, London.
