Cindy Crawford

CindyCynthia Ann Crawford was born 20th February 1966. She is an American model, actress, and television personality. During the 1980s and 1990s she was among the most popular supermodels and a ubiquitous presence on runways and magazine covers as well as on fashion shows. The following years she expanded her acting abilities and entered into business. Crawford received a phone call during her sophomore year by a local clothing shop to do modeling. It was viewed as an unintentional joke from two of her classmates. However, the following year, another store recruited a variety of high school girls including Crawford and her sister, to do take on their work (including a fashion shoot). Roger Legel, a local photographer approached Crawford to shoot her photo. He was in charge of photographing another college girl in DeKalb Nite Weekly. Crawford was selected as the first photo shoot. Crawford was inspired to continue modeling based on the favorable feedback and photos she received. She started out working at a small agency. Elite Model Management sold her to the agency just after she signed. She was a participant in Elite's Look of the Year contest at the age of 17 and was able to make it to the finals at the national level.
