Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who started her career through smart raps that addressed gender and ethnic identities from a a boldly comic perspective. Her career then grew to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was through the instrument of trumpet.
